About Niki

A woman with long, light brown hair, red lipstick, wearing a white long-sleeve shirt, blue jeans, white boots, and large earrings, is smiling and hugging a large brindle dog with pointed ears and a black nose in an outdoor park setting.

Niki DuBois is an Austin-based eating disorder specialist with over a decade of clinical experience — including years at Eating Recovery Center's PHP and IOP programs. She holds the field's highest clinical designation as a Certified Eating Disorder Specialist.

She built Umbrella Psychotherapy on a simple belief: healing happens in relationship. With others, with your body, and with yourself. That belief shapes every session — individual, family, and group.

"Niki is professional, compassionate, and a wealth of knowledge in her specialties. I frequently seek her consultation and refer to her practice for folx of all ages, genders, and experiences of Substance Use Disorders and EDs."

Connect with yourself

Eating disorders disconnect us from our minds and bodies. Together we rebuild those connections — rediscovering who you are beyond the disorder.

Connect with your emotions

At their core, eating disorders are about emotion regulation. We identify what keeps you stuck and practice the skills to move you forward — one pause at a time.

Connect with your community

Recovery does not happen alone. Community has transformative power. Niki's groups are where skills, safety, and genuine human connection come together.
